After collecting the scorecards, Jersey was tied with Litchfield at 173. It was Stagner’s score that pushed the Panthers into first place.
Litchfield was second, with East Alton-Wood River placing third (197) and Civic Memorial getting fourth (204).
The win moved Jersey’s record to 17-5 overall.
Senior Kyle Wilson led the way with a 40. Bradley Davis carded a 43, and Andrew Maul had a 45.
Mitch Madson scored a 45 in the Jersey’s sixth spot, and Josh Steckel shot a 46.
Jersey also won at Rolling Hills on Thursday. Wilson’s 37 was the top score for Jersey, and the second-best score of the day behind Ethan Guess’ (Roxana) 36.
Other Jersey scores included: Bradley Davis 40, Andrew Maul 41, Josh Steckel 42, Kyle Stagner 44, Mitch Madson 50.
Jersey lost to Waterloo at Westlake on Wednesday. Kyle Stagner had a 39, and Andrew Maul shot a 41. Mitch Madson carded a 43, as did Josh Steckel. Kyle Wilson had a 44, Bradley Davis had a 46, and Matt Murphy shot a 50. Paul Hardin had a 57.
