Powderpuff football to begin Homecoming Week

The annual JCHS Homecoming week gets into full gear with the second annual Powderpuff Football game which will held on Sunday, September 21 beginning at 5pm at the Sports Complex

Two preliminary games will be held starting at 5:00pm with the Freshman taking on the Juniors.

At 5:30pm the seniors will take on the sophomores with the championship game set to take place beginning at 6:15pm.

There will be a $1.00 donation for entrance to the games with money going toward a local charity and to help with purchase of equipment. A concession stand will also be available during all three games.

“Last years event was a lot of fun and a great success and we are hoping for the same this year,” said organizer Erica Smith.

Homecoming week culminates with the parade on Friday afternoon, football game Friday night and Homecoming Dance on Saturday evening.
